Every year we recruit friendly and enthusiastic Customer Experience Interns to join the LOVESPACE team over our busy summer months. We provide excellent customer service and interns help to maintain these high standards during our peak seasons.  

 

Insight into our internships 

 

During your LOVESPACE internship you will become a CX champion, confidently handling in-bound calls and professionally responding to customer queries via our various online channels. You will be mentored by our brilliant existing CX team and you’ll work closely with your fellow interns as well as receiving support from the wider team who will help you to resolve complex customer enquiries.  

 

Our internships typically last around 1-3 months and during this time you will be working full-time as a key team member. Every day you’ll be responding to different scenarios and speaking to our customers from around the world. In order to succeed in your internship you will need to be a great communicator and active listener with superb interpersonal skills. Every customer is unique with distinct needs and expectations, you’ll need to be empathetic and patient to help answer their questions. You’ll learn some invaluable transferable skills over the course of your internship and bolster your CV with some professional experience.

Jeni, Customer Operations Specialist:

I was a Customer Experience intern at LOVESPACE in 2020. Starting an internship remotely has its challenges but the team were very friendly and always willing to answer any questions! During my time in the customer experience team, I also gained an insight into other areas of the business such as operations; it was interesting to see what happens behind the scenes and how many different people and teams are involved in the process! Having gained such valuable experience in only four months, I went on to apply for a full-time role in the CX team and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I was a LOVESPACE intern in 2020 and even working remotely, I found the team to be so friendly and welcoming. So much so that when a spot opened up to apply for a more permanent position, I jumped at the chance! It’s a really great company to work for that values its customers and is always thinking of new, innovative ways to improve their services for their customers and partners. My internship equipped me with some great skills and experience after I graduated and helped to kickstart my career!

I applied to be a LOVESPACE intern in 2018 straight after graduating, having no idea what kind of career I wanted to pursue. The team were all super welcoming and helpful when showing me the ropes in the early days. When a position in the marketing team opened up, I interviewed... and here I am three years later! What I love most (pun intended) about LOVESPACE is wherever you have an interest, even if it's outside your department, other teams will always take the time to hear your feedback. So if you have an interest in technology or feel like you would also be valued in operations, you can get involved anywhere!
