LOVESPACE selects new CEO to lead the UK business

31 October 2019 – LOVESPACE, the UK’s first and largest storage by the box service, today announced that Will Edwards, currently the company’s Finance & Commercial Director, has been selected as LOVESPACE’s new chief executive officer.

Since joining LOVESPACE in 2017, Will has had a broad remit, streamlining the marketing and business functions, along with driving improved profitability. Prior to this, he spent 7 years at Google, most recently as Head of Measurement and Attribution for Google UK. Will also holds an MBA from INSEAD and an engineering degree from Stanford University.

Will succeeds LOVESPACE co-founder Steve Folwell, who has moved from the role of CEO to Chairman of the Board. Steve said, “I am thrilled that Will is taking the helm at LOVESPACE. I believe there is no one better placed to lead LOVESPACE through our next phase of growth, and I look forward to continuing to work closely with him as we build the most convenient alternative to self storage in the UK.”

Carl August Ameln, co-founder and current Chairman of the Board said, “I am delighted to have someone of Will’s calibre to lead LOVESPACE. Will has a great understanding of LOVESPACE’s business and customers and I am confident he will lead the LOVESPACE team with vigour, as we continue to build the business and execute our strategy. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Steve for his vision, commitment and leadership as LOVESPACE’s CEO over the past 7 years, and I wish him all the very best as he takes over the Board.” Carl will remain a member of LOVESPACE’s Board.

Edwards said, “I am honoured to have been selected as LOVESPACE’s new CEO. The opportunity we have in front of us is incredibly exciting, and I am looking forward to continuing to work with this stellar team to provide the most convenient option for people looking to store their things.”
